A powerful, yet intimate acoustic performance of Every Breaking Wave by U2 from their new album, Songs of Innocence. Produced and directed by Two Foot Four’s Mark Fewell at Metropolis, London, for international broadcast, we think you’ll agree this is a rare and special performance – like having Bono, Edge, Lary and Adam round for tea and biscuits and they insist on playing a song in your front room!

Jake Bugg - Lightning Bolt - Acoustic Session at Franco's Cafe

  • Produced and directed by Mark Fewell
show more

In early January, before the hangovers had subsided, the unassuming figure of Jake Bugg strolled into Franco’s Cafe in Shoreditch.
He pulled a newly acquired acoustic guitar out of it’s case, had a sip of tea and - although full of cold - proceeded to belt out a truly memorable set, including hit song Lightning Bolt.

Thomas Dybdahl

Songs (album) broadcast epk

Thomas Dybdahl was in London for less than 48 hrs, so we had to crash Kevin Westenberg’s album cover shoot to grab an interview. Thomas joined us in the basement and found enough energy to perform three acoustic tracks right on cue.

Mona

Listen to Your Love

  • Mark Fewell Director

There’s a thin line between rock’n’roll and religion, and nowhere thinner than in the intense, sharp, sweat-drenched, duelling-guitar euphoria of Mona. The four-piece Nashville-based band – or family, or gang, or band of brothers – are young, charismatic punk preachers.

Taio Cruz

Acoustic Session - broadcast epk

  • Metropolis Studios, Chiswick, London

Taio had just broken The States with Break Your Heart when we hooked up with him at London’s Metropolis Studios, soon after the interview the guitarist arrived and they swiftly slid through three great acoustic tracks, Break Your Heart, Dirty Picture and Come On Girl, without a hitch. Perfect.
